While flexible with media, painting holds a spot in my heart. Reliving and recreating moments that I have experienced in a new light gives me an avenue to see things in a new light and perspective. It’s a healing for me to witness the art that has been plucked from moments in my life take on their own life and interact with the perspectives around them.

It is a newer passion of mine, and I enjoy finding new ways to use the elements of design. I mostly work with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, and have just started using Adobe InDesign. Graphic design is everywhere, and as the internet gets larger, it becomes everything at times.

A visual and literary publication at MCC, I had the honor and pleasure of leading an excellent team for the 77th edition. We navigated the process together and learned critical techniques for printing and publication. The organization went beyond producing a magazine and included fostering creativity and community on campus.
